The Ministry of National Defence organizes, in all large garrisons of the country, events dedicated to the War Veterans` Day, celebrated on April 29.

The solemn Assembly of the National Association of War Veterans took place at the National Military Club on Monday, 28 April, attended by representatives of the war veterans` associations, active duty, reserve and retired military personnel.

Military and religious wreath-laying ceremonies will be organized on Tuesday, April 29, at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Carol Park from 08.00, at the Memorial of WW2 Heroes, in front of \"Carol I\" National Defence University, from 10.00.
